Meta’s enormous investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure also complicates the explanation, although it would be misleading to claim that Meta alone created the global memory shortage.
How Quest Prices Have Changed
The revised United States prices took effect on April 19, 2026. Meta raised both Quest 3S configurations by $50, while the 512GB Quest 3 received a larger $100 increase. Regional prices differ because of taxes, currencies and local distribution costs.
